South Indian Food- Rumba-Nalla.

For the ever perfect South-Indian cuisines the biggest eating joint from Chennai Hotel Savarana Bhawan (in Connaught Place) is the place to step in. It’s like the whole city of Chennai under one roof. From the staff to platter, from the interior to music.
There are two in CP and both are full with crowd. You will see people in long queues waiting for their go.

Starting from their Dosa Corner they have a huge variety, and onion rava masala, paneer dosai and ghee roast masala are the top among others. Followed by Dosai, onion uttapam is fingerlicious especially with the chutney they serve.
Appam (is a south Indian pancake made with fermented rice batter and coconut milk) and idiyappam (is a traditional Tamil, Kerala food consisting of rice flour pressed into noodle form and then steamed) with side Dish are their specialities.

One very mind tempting concept they have is rice of Day i.e. different style of rice for every different day.
Cauliflower Rice (Sunday)
Kothamalli Rice (Monday, Thursday)
Lemon Rice (Tuesday)
Tomato Rice (Wednesday, Saturday)
Tamarind Rice (Friday)
And one you just can’t miss there is their special pure filter coffee.
Absolute Taste.

Nanraaga saappidunkal!
